THE JOY OF SERVING
The current Mother General is from the Province of Zimbabwe, born in Hwange on the 15th of November 1950.
She joined the Congregation of the Missionary Daughters of Calvary on 18 May 1974, did her fisrt profession on 23 May 1976 and final profession on 22 December 1982. She was then sent to Chireya hospital in Gokwe diocese and it was during civil war which became intesified and the expatriate sisters ran away from the Mission but she and the other junior sister remained rendering service to the people of God. The situation became worse that the two had to go to the Mother house of the Congregation in Zimbabwe and the mission was closed for 2 years.
In April 1980 the country got independence and the mission was resumed but this time she was sent to Kariyangwe.
From 1983 to 1986 she worked in Sacred Heart Mission clinic.
1987 - 1988 she did her studies in specialization in her profession as a nurse.
In 1989- 1992 she went back to Kariyangwe hospital.
From 1993 to 1995 she served as a Delegate Superior of Zimbabwe.
In 1996 - 1998 she was a elected as a Provincial Superior of a newly born Province of Zimbabwe.
From 1999- to 2009 she returned back to Kariyangwe hospital.
In 2010 – 2015 she was sent to Lubhancho as a coodinator of the HIV/AIDS centre, offering aid to the AIDS clients and orpharns .
From 2016- 2017 she was asked to serve as a Provincial Superior.
On 14 May of the year 2018 she was then elected as a General Superior of the Congregation of the Missionary Daughters of Calvary.
